I've been trying to get traffic to my site for months and don't see the traffic building at all. I was thinking about trying a

FYI: Site Support does not allow the use of CDN's for any website hosted here. (per site report in answer to my question I sent them earlier today).

Rudy

No, to answer your question, I haven't used a SEO company, but I am working with a new client who is deciding whether to pay $1000 a month for an SEO company that states they can guarantee 1st page rankings within 6 months, AND a monthly income that, at least, matches the monthly fee.

Yet, from what I've learned here at WA, there isn't a need to hire an SEO company to speed your site to the front...

Rudy

Hi - I notice you have said previously that you are in the weight loss niche, which is very competitive. It may just be a case of adding more content, ideally 2 or 3 times per week. You could ask for feedback on your site, to see if there is anything obvious that you could do.

Does your SEO have a facebook group? If so join it, you will find expert advice on the plugin and any issues with updates and plugin conflicts.
Michael.

Hey Steve,

Once you know for a fact that your niche is in demand that you have created unique helpful content, and you have taken to sharing your posts on the most relevant social media accounts on a regular basis in order to start getting traffic... and you are STILL not getting any traffic... then you either need patience, or to revisit your content and/or niche.

This video may offer you some helpful thinking too: And, please DO check over the training and blogged tips on getting traffic.

Has anyone tried contracting seo companies?

I have written over 20 1000 word posts for my niche site. I need to write another 1000 word post and I feel like I've already spoken on all the information that I can remember.

Ha! Ha! Ha! All of us faced or will face similar experience... this means you are productive! Time to apply some creativity, I guess.

I usually take time out and look at other areas for inspiration. Doing something different may help.

Cheers,
Stanley

Sounds good thanks!

That's the challenge. I suggest looking at what others in your niche are writing about for ideas, if you haven't done it already. Good luck.

Joe

I have not, thanks, Joe!

... that's fantastic progress! .... suggest you might just shake it off and to help stimulate your creativity -- simply change your scenery for a bit ... take a walk in the great outdoors -- very inspirational to see the beautiful blue sky, hear the birds sing, the ocean surf lapping on shore, sniff the trees ... whatever turns your fancy! ...

.... just do something different and surely a new idea or two will pop up ...

... all the best to you .... cheerio-o ..... :)

Thank you!

*** you're most welcome -- glad to be of help for you! ..

Wow. You have done really well since you joined.
As Edwin said, we need more information on your niche if you would like some ideas.
What have you been writing on?

Lily 😊

My niche is on weight loss, thanks, Lily!

What is your niche? If you can share that I am sure I and others may be able to give you some ideas.

My niche is on weight loss, thanks Edwin,

Hi I was attempting to move another website I own on another host, to WA. I'm being asked for a transfer verification code? I purchased this website and registered a name silo.

Here is a video about transferring your domain to WA: Have you unlocked your domain at your current hosting company? That should enable you to get the transfer code. If you've done that already and still haven't gotten anything, I'd recommend reaching out to Site Support to get their help.

Thank you!

You're welcome!

Hi Steve, Here is a training I found on how to transfer your site. Hope this helps

Thanks Ray I will check this out!
