Getting published!
It may not seem like much. In fact, to some, it may seem very ordinary. But to someone who has dreamed of being a writer since the age of 5, it is the best feeling in the world.
Something I wrote got published! The last time that happened, I was in high school. I entered a poetry contest, got an honorable mention, and had my poem published in a big book! I remember that feeling. I felt like the luckiest girl in the world! And it has happened again!
Sure, i'm not getting paid for it. And yes, maybe not many people will see it, let alone read it. But, it is on the internet for all to see. And maybe, just maybe, one person will read it, and like it. And in the end, that is all I want.

Savonne - congratulations. I felt exactly the same when I published my first article online. Although I have published hundreds since then - nothing has quite matched that very first one.
