Sometimes You Have To Get Crafty
This is for the fellow newbies who are building up their websites and don't have all the fancy software and equipment to create a logo for their header. I'm in that same boat, so I hope you can relate.
I don't have the "cool tools" such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator to decorate my website, and the only working computer I own (if you can call it working) is an outdated Windows 98 that I've had since I was 14 years old...with no internet connection. So let me tell you guys how I was able to do it.
I looked up Microsoft Paint on my cellphone (gotta love Google). Lo and behold, the app from my high school days was in the search. Before then, I'd save the logos and designs I created with MS Paint onto my flash drive during my college days, when I was building my crochet business.
If you're like me, lacking a functioning PC and using your phone as a makeshift computer, below is the website for the MS Paint app.

That tool comes in handy if you want to get creative and play with it a bit to design some banners, headers and footers for your new website. This is why I say sometimes you have to get crafty; the resources are at your fingertips.

Great idea, didn't consider that there would be a Paint app...
For those who aren't as APP savvy, MS Paint comes with both MS Windows and Mac OS.
This is a great free tool to create you blog 'feature images' where you can add text to the images.

It's sort of like an app, but functions more like a website as it'll take you straight to MS Paint, just like the old days of Windows 95-XP
And you can use it in your cell phone? Hmmm, there have been times I could use that...
Rudy
That's the only way I can do it since all my computers are conked out
