Cycles

I realized that I tend to do things in cycles. I lose weight, I gain weight. I work my sites, I ignore my sites. There are very few things that generate a sustained effort.

Thinking about this makes me wonder why. Is it the immediacy that we have been promised through the internet that creates the expectation of immediate success? Or at least immediate access? Is it part of my childhood in seeking new experiences but not wanting to give up on treasures?

Perhaps just considering the nature of this cycle will help me get through the waning period faster and go back into the upward momentum with more sustained effort. Like putting on a sweatshirt but still wearing shorts when it is 50 degrees (f). I need to bridge or even flatten my curves to a higher plateau.

I really am not a flake. Just a cyclist. :)

You apporach as a cyclist is very well accepted. What ever the case may be and long as it work for you it's okay. Life moments has it's own anxieties. Believe me, we have all walked that path along the way.

Thank you.

You are welcome!

I think we all engage in a sort of "cycle" within our lives. Maybe it's "normal", whatever that means....hey, I think I just got s new topic for a post, lol.

Go for it! Would love to see what you write.

There are probably a lot of cyclists out here. At least 1 I can assure you. Keep on pedaling.

Glad I am not the only one. Thanks for the support.

Do what makes you feel right.

Thanks

Precise rhythmic tweaking improves any cycle!

Rhythmic tweaking sounds like a new Olympic sport! Thanks.
