What a year it has been

What a year we have had

2020 will go down as one of the worst year for most people as well as businesses. The Covid pandemic made life so difficult for us to live life as we know it. We had to adjust to new normal ways of living like wearing masks everywhere, which is really ironic as 2020 (Jewish year 5780) was the year of the mouth.

What lessons have I learnt this year?

Besides the year being what it has been there have been good lessons I got from it. I find that I am more grateful for even the little things in life. I am more in contact with my family than I used to do. When lock-down started we realised that uncertainity, distance and not being able to visit each other was a huge factor for our healthy well-being. We then decided to meet everyday over Zoom at an appointed time to just talk to each other, pray together, encourage and practice being positive in the midst of everything,

This became our most important activity of the day and I kid you not we kept that without fail. I have also learnt to appreciate my family more and most of all I have learnt to trust God and my faith has grown exponentially.

What about business

I don't know about you but business have been slow. However, I hank God that he has provided for myself and my family and we have never found ourselves in lack. I have grown so much as a person. I was one of the speakers at an online summit during the time of the unrest in America. I used my voice for good.

I attended a lot of masterclasses and workshops both in the main stream and faith arenas. These have widened my scope of understanding things. I joined Mindvalley Mastery where I am completing a coaching course.

Milestones

Having found my voice through the online livestreams and workshops I decided to start a podcast as well as a YouTube channel. The idea behind this, is to share the message I have to an even wider audience. I believe that is giving back especially as most of the courses I attended this year were offered free. I felt the least I can do is to also share my knowledge and expertise with others in this way.

What does the future hold

I believe the world has seen the worst of this pandemic even though the virus is mutating . If we can just hold on, do everything right and be mindful of protecting ourselves and others, we will get to the otherside better than we came in. Humans are resilient, and our science has come a long way since the influenza epidemic of the 1920s to the 30s.

In the mean time I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
