This seems simple but so far I cannot determine how subscribers are adding themselves to my website. I have about 100 subscribers but in searching my own website I cannot deter
You might have it set it comments to require or allow them to sign up first. Log into your site dashboard and look at the following settings:
Settings > Discussion
Make sure "Users must be registered and logged in to comment" is not checked.
Under Settings > General make sure "Anyone can register" is not checked.
Go to Users and clean out users that shouldn't be there.
