Lost Friends
These past few months have had so many ups and downs. Snow days, Major Tests, Board Certifications, and the worst has been losing friends.
I lost someone this week that was part of my everyday life. Her name was Donna and she was the patient coordinator at Dental Clinic at my school. She kept all the patients records, helped the dental students like me find patients that met the criteria for classes, and most important of all she was our cheerleader. She had a stroke while walking her dog and unfortunately was without oxygen for too long before someone found her. She never woke up again.
My father and his friends lost someone in their community. His name was Andrew. He was great friend and performer. According to his friends he was always there to make someone laugh and lend a hand. He is very sorely missedby them and everyone is heartbroken with their loss. He committed suicide.
My point in writing this is not to make you sad, but to reach out and remind you to always tell the people you love that you love them. Do not take any day for granted for you never know when it will be somebody's last. Also, if you are sad, lonely, depressed, and can't go on please, please, please reach out to someone. They will listen. Tell them what is going on and get help. Don't Give up. There is always hope. ALWAYS.
No matter what you believe all we have is here and now. So make it count.

I am sorry to hear about your loss. But I like your message. It is so true that we tend to just let the days pass by and we forget how short life really is!
