Finding Targeted Friends on Facebook

So, I have been "playing around" with Facebook these past few weeks, getting my FB Presence "out there".

Now I have joined tons of groups, requested friendships, accepted friendships, I am posting regularly, at least 3 times a day.

I do a lot of activities throughout the time I allot myself - yes...I time myself religiously - 30 min per lot! That way I can stay focused on what I do and need to do.

Good FB Activities

So what else have I been doing on Facebook?...well I've been commenting on posts, sharing fun and interesting posts (which is considered a posting action too BTW).

I also have been going to my friends' timeline, the ones that haven't been too active on my timeline for a while, and have been commenting and liking the posts that I really liked, I don't go and just like for the sake of liking...I really choose what I like.
This is because the old adage "show me who your friends are and I'll show you who you are" is SOO true - especially when it comes to Facebook!
So yes, I am selective to whom I like, and whom I comment to.

Then I go to my fan page or you could call it a business page, and do the same, well almost.

On my page I post a fun or inspirational fact, a meme, then I post one of my posts, if I have a new one then that is the one that "goes online" if not, then I dig deeper to an older one and "revive" it ;)

Getting Targeted

But then there can come a time where you'd like to add more friends - but targeted ones.
Ones that would be interested in what you do online.

In order to do that what I do is go and search groups that are related to my niche and ask to join them.

Once approved, I go inside and start to look at the members, afterall they are there because they have an interest in your niche right? So makes sense that they'd be happy to be your friends too - right?

Make sure you request NO MORE than 20 friends a day...otherwise you might end up in FB jail. Believe me, you don't want to visit there too many times, it will raise redflags to FB's warden and then you'll find yourself in "solitary"...that hurts! ouch!

Also if you decide to post on FB groups, do it slowly...I mean s-l-o-w-l-y...and no more than 20 groups a day too...cause that will land you in FB jail too...(why do you think I am writing this post...I am in jail for another 2 days, learning the hard way! lol).

There you have it, some good sense tips on how to get yourself some good targeted friends on Facebook and some FB best practice.

Hope you enjoyed this little blog.

Hi Orion, sounds like you have it all figured. All we have to do is do the same I guess.
I haven't "gone there" as I find I spend too much time checking out peoples posts. Wish I had more hours in the day.
Nice to chat to you.
Cheers Jae ♥

Thanks for the tips, Orion. I tend to be haphazard with FB. Boy, everything requires a system, and, believe, I know that!

Got to put it into practice, henceforth.

Awesomeness!
