The 3 Cs in Life

Sometimes life becomes redundant. We are constantly working towards something in life, but what? We are working professional and personally to build a life that we can be proud of. We come home day after day doing the same things, over and over, to get ready for the next day, and then we wake up the next day, only to just do it all over again. How do you break up the monotony of life? How do you make your life to where you can wake up and say, ‘what am I going to do today?’ Every day should be exciting and new! I want to make my life more spontaneous and I want to live my life my way. I am over the constant of running around the hamster wheel.

How do you do this? How do you completely change your mentality and way of life? I came across a quote recently that I felt was just what I needed to hear. It’s called the 3 C’s in Life; “You must make a choice to take a chance or your life will never change.” How true is this! Our lives are never going to change because we haven’t made the choice to make a change.

Aside from your day to day life and your day to day goals, what are your long term goals, where do you see yourself in 5 years? What did you want to be when you grew up? For some of us, we have lost part of ourselves; we don’t know or remember who that person was. For many of us, our life and goals were put to the side because of work and bills and family. For many years I let those reasons get in the way of my dreams. I had so many plans to travel and experience all that life had to offer. And you know what? I’m now ready to make a choice.

I’m ready to choose to take a chance. I’m ready to quit my day job, I’m ready to wake up each morning to see what the day will bring me, and I’m ready to have a chance to spend more time with my family. I want to volunteer at my children’s school or drop the kids off at school and take a day trip. I am choosing to take a chance so that my life will change.

You might say, ‘How are you supposed to make such a dramatic change?’ ‘How are you going to support yourself and your family?’ Well I will tell you. I am choosing to take a chance so that my life will change.
