Writer's Block? How to Push Through
I started on WA at the end of April. I love to write, and I love to write about what I like. This includes home projects and photography... to name a few. I have gotten to a point in the training where I am signing up for affiliate programs. So far so good. I've been getting approved!!! Yay! But after I get approved, I've been finding that I have writer's block. What is up with that? Anyone else have that problem?
How to Get Over Writer's Block
Whenever I've had writer's block in the past, I've gotten back into writing by journaling (to myself), and/or to just start writing. I write then clean up later. Usually it works. This time I feel pressure to gear my writing towards my affiliate programs, rather than letting them fall into place naturally. My goal isn't to get the money right away... it is to get traffic to my sites. I know, I know.... why be an affiliate marketer if you don't want the money? Not that I don't want the money, but I need/want to get the traffic. So I need to make my posts interesting. That's where I feel pressured and get stuck... I don't feel like my posts are interesting to other people.
What is Really Going On
I am fluctuating between Imposter Syndrome where I don't think I am good enough, but other people are; and the Dunning-Kruger effect where I think Iknow more than I do. My thoughts and emotions fluctuate daily around these two.
How to Get Through This
Yes, that is what I need to do. Get through this. Just keep writing and not worry about the affiliate part, making money part, yet. I do believe that the programs I signed up for will fit naturally into my blogging. After all, that is why I chose them. I know patience is a virtue, and am willing to be patient while this process takes place.
Thank you to everyone here for the support and training! Having an awesome time, even while I am feeling a bit stuck.

Just be yourself and write naturally as if you might be telling a friend about a specific product! You'll be surprised how sincere it can sound when you are done!

Thanks Jeff. I am actually a very sincere person, so it should be easy enough for me. :-)
