The first 45 Days at WA
I've been at WA for almost a month and a half, I am not finished with the lessons yet, I am taking my sweet time on them and don't want to rush anything.
In the first 45 days I've built a website I am satisfied with, I've gotten used to WordPress and other plug-ins that I can use, as well as Google tools such as Analytics and Google AdSense.
At this point I have 11 published posts, and two will be posted this week. I deleted a couple of full posts that I was going to publish because I am not satisified with them. Right now I would say I am focused more on helpful tips for artists, rather than just a review after a review of products. I heavily believe in quality content, and I embrace the idea that my website is a place for artists to get help, and not just to read product reviews, now don't get me wrong, the name of the game is to get money, and I plan on doing a lot of reviews, but for right now I want to focus on helping aspiring artists out.
Sales
Have I made a sale? Nope. Not a single penny up to this point, not even through Google AdSense. Am I discouraged? Not at all, not yet, my traffic isnt the highest, so I am not expecting sales just yet, it would have been nice to accomplish a sale before my first month at WA ended, but I didnt, and I am not discouraged at all, I'll start worrying about sales 90 days in, but for right now all I want to accomplish is good rankings, a healthy flow of traffic, and quality as well as helpful content. There are good signs with my traffic, my Bounce Rate isn't too bad, and users seem to spend an average of 11 minutes, which is not bad considering there aren't a ton of posts yet.
So there you have it, if you are new you'll hear this a lot, which is WA isn't an over-night get rich type of deal, I've seen some people here report a sale within the first week, I havent been that fortunate, but that doesnt mean I am about to give up, I am a long way from giving up.

As soon as I finished this I went to check my AdSense account, looks like I've officially made my first money off the website haha $1.22 from an ad click.
