I learnt the hard way, but buy your domain AFTER you finish some keyword research
Ok, so I must admit, this is not my first time hanging around in the online business world (in saying that, there are so many things that I have learnt already in WA, and I've only joined 2 days ago). So before I decided to join WA, I actually thought of a 'niche' I wanted to do and bought my domain and even hosted it somewhere else.
But anyway, after finishing one of the lessons for the new starter member in keyword research, I then joined Jaaxy and of course, blew my 30 free keyword searches before I can even finish the sentence "keyword research". Then I realised "OH NO! I think I have to throw this domain I already have, and succumb to the fact that I should choose a domain name only AFTER I'm satisfied with the keyword potential."
That's not done yet!
But I think I'm going to do it tonight!
So before I even finish doing my keyword research, which I think is a very important part of online business, I am writing here to stop others from doing what I've done. Lesson is: do not choose your domain name until AFTER you do the training and until AFTER you do some keyword searches.
