Why Trying to Do Everything Is Slowing Your Growth

I used to think doing more = growing faster.

More skills, more platforms, more effort.

But if I am being honest? It was just slowing me down.

The trap I fell into

I tried to be:

• The marketer.
• The designer.
• The strategist.
• The creator all at once.

And instead of progressing in one area.

I stayed average in all of them.

What I started noticing (me vs my partner)

This is where it really clicked for me:

• I go deep into growth, messaging and audience.
• He goes deep into design, building and execution.

We're trying to get really good at our lane.

Instead of asking how do I do more.

I started asking what actually moves the needle for me?

Then I doubled down on that:

• less noise.
• More focus
• better results

Doing everything might feel productive.

But it's usually just disguised distraction.

And honestly… once you lock into that, everything starts to click.
