One of my sites that is listed in the Google Web Master Tools is showing as redirected in the fetch section. Why is this and is it detrimental to SEO? The site was registered at
I found the solution to this via support for future users:
"Make sure that you do not use a www prefix when you enter the Website URL."
I can't help you but if you go to chat room there should be some one who can also I added you to google+ all the best

I have had a site up for a couple of days and jaaxy tells me that a certain keyword search gives me position 8 on page 1. Impressive I thought but when I search the same keyword
I wonder whether Jaaxy keyword tool is at all accurate because I keep targeting 'the low hanging fruit' keywords for my test sites but rarely see any rankings... because it turns out there is a bunch of competition!
I am a seasoned veteran at affiliate marketing with 5 years experience, including SEO, SMM, PPC etc so it just doesn't add up. My offline business website (not hosted here) ranks #1 in Google for ALL my chosen keywords and phrases. :-)
Thanks labman, had a read and it made some sense. However, it does not address my concern with Jaaxy - why would Jaaxy give me a 1st page ranking with a keyword search when in reality it is nowhere to be found on a standard google search with the same keyword?
Usually it is the reverse, Google customizes the search for people and will rank a term that has bee previously searched higher for the person searching it.
As for why Jaaxy shows you on a page and not Google, hard to say, what does your Google Webmaster Tools for the site reveal?
Thanks for the reply Gary but it doesn't explain why jaaxy is giving a site ranking for page 1. If what you say is correct then the jaaxy site ranking page is worthless. Yes, i have been through all the certification and bootcamp courses and indeed watched the jaaxy videos but nothing there addresses my question.
OK , sorry that I was not able to assist, have you reached out to Kyle by any chance to see if he may have some additional perspective?
In all honesty the way I attack Jaaxy I have never even bothered with what it is reporting as to what may or may not be with regard to SERP, but that is just me.
I do understand that being "mislead" can be quite irritating especially when paying for the privilege.
I have just become much better with working in areas of content, and layout & combining that with my Jaaxy results seems to be giving me pretty good results. I have quite a few 1st page placements and at least 1 #1 globally. It has been a slow steady positive process for me most all the way along.
I hope & think you will be able to find resolution, my best,
Gary
Saintboy,
Just so you know Jaaxy works independently of Google so the information that you get is going to be an approximation based on a lot of variables.
Overall it works amazingly well, I have had awesome success to date and in a very competitive niche, however I have also had some minor issues as well like you spoke of.
One very important thing is to use a large number of keywords (I usually write a list before I start) you can not focus on 1 single keyword, long tail or otherwise.
It also takes time once you put your keywords into SEO and save the changes create a new site map & release it to Google, Bing & Yahoo for things to all catch up.
A lot also has to do with the content on your site, the way it is organized with H1, H2 tags and the like.
Are you currently involved in the certification or BootCamp courses?
Here is a great video about getting better with Jaaxy https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/using-jaaxy-like-a-keyword-research-ninja/play
I asked about the classes because I have not tried doing a smaller local website before and perhaps that may be covered.
I hope this helps, my best,
Gary
