I am trying to get my posts indexed to Google and I am in Google console help. I have verified my https://my site.com but they suggest adding www.mysite.com. I can only find o

The important thing is to select the non-www URL as your preferred option, as Marlinda explained.

Always use //yoursitename without the www to send all traffic.

It doesn't matter whether a visitor types www or not, WA hosting is
set up to accept both. The visitor will end up on the non-www.

In the All in One SEO setting, tick the Canonical URL setting. This ensures Google will not see these as 2 different websites but as one website. See Screenshot.

You don't need to do anything else. ~Jude

I can't seem to get my posts indexed by google. I have sent them a sitemap, I have sent them the URL for every post and I have signed up for google analytics. I added the the footer code. They have indexed nothing.
I noticed that they have my site with the https://my site .com. The help page suggested this.

Add all your website versions
Make sure you add separate Search Console properties for all URL variations that your site supports, including https, http, www, and non-www.

I did go in at make sure that my page looks like yours and it was already set that way.

Any other ideas?

Thank you for the help. It is very appreciated.

Can you give me the link to your website? If you don't want to publish it here, you can send it to me in a private message. I'll take a look. ~Jude

Your site is being indexed just fine - see first Screenshot.

You might be confusing getting "indexed" with getting "ranked". Yes, getting ranked for keywords is a bigger challenge.

I found one high ranking keyword for you in Bing. See second Screenshot.

I suggest following the keyword training at WA. Use the WA search bar to find Kyle's trainings. Jay (magistudios) has several webinars on SEO. I recommend watching his most recent ones.

That is good to know. When i click on my site content stats it says 13 articles published and zero indexed. Do you know what that refers to? Should i just be ignoring it?

I have been following the training and i will take a look at any SEO info. Thanks for that lead. I'm just confused now. I feel a whole lot better though.

Thank you

Make sure that in WP > Readings > Settings, at the bottom of the page, the little box next to Search Engine Visibility is NOT ticked.

See Screenshot.

If it has never been ticked, could you take a screenshot of where you see that zero indexed, and add it in a reply here so I can figure out why that is so. ~Jude

Go into your site's dashboard.

Click on the wheel thing to the right, click site settings and choose your preferred version.

This is the task I am trying to complete from Google Search Console.

Add all your website versions

Have you done this? I can't figure out how to add more than one in my SEO settings.
