You can give it at least 6 - 8 months or up, and keep writing more quality articles for your niche.
Plan like at least 2 posts per week, always keeps it consistent.
This is a long-term investment to achieve the goals that you'd set up here.

It takes about 6 months to get a commission. so you would be looking at least that length of time. I waited for Black Friday and went premium at the reduced price for the yearly membership.

A free website is useful to start with, but it does have drawbacks. You can't have a domain-specific email address for it, you won't be able to use Google AdSense on it and show their ads, and some affiliate programs won't accept it, if you are planning on promoting any products.
