The Value (and Marketing Strategy) of Reciprocity

One of the best things about being an affiliate marketer - is being able to leverage something called RECIPROCITY.

Reciprocity is a simple enough concept to understand. And when you do, you'll notice how it ties in to being an effective marketer.

Reciprocity is playing out RIGHT HERE in the Wealthy Affiliate program and is vital to your success.

So what is Reciprocity?

If you give value to someone....they are inclined to return it.

You will see this everywhere in marketing - especially online.

Think about this....if you just tell someone to sign up for a product through your affiliate link, you're probably going to fall flat on your face.

But if you create a video tutorial and provide really genuinely helpful information to someone who is looking for it....then when you say "by the way, to learn more you can click here"....then you'll be amazed at the response.

When people receive something of value (and it must be of value to THEM)...then they are likely to respond in kind. This could be an email sign-up or purchasing a product you recommend through your affiliate link.

Kyle and the folks at WA do this to the nth degree

I've been very impressed by the value of WA so far. The training videos, guides, and just the overall build of the WA from the inside is remarkable.

And we, as customers, have reciprocated their value to us by being active members, helping others that need our help, and by pretty promoting their product.

So remember the power of reciprocity when you build your websites and your content. If you REALLY help people solve their problems, or make their lives better....you will be rewarded for your efforts.
