Hi WA

I have wanted to start Vlogging for some time now.

Vloggging for those who do not know stands for Video Blogging. Their are a fair few online that make large

Ryan,
Although I am not a vlogger, I do not see why you cannot promote products of Clickbank through vlogging. As long as you provide your readers/watchers with quality content and a decent site framework I think it is very likely that you'll have success.

Hi WA, I have been asked in an interview for a posible new career that would do me really well. The interviewer asked me to "Can you suggest SEO / Digital Strategies etc

Hey Kmer6 :)

Thanks so much would be great for me. Can I ask how you checked the html code so I can learn that technique too lol.

That sounds like a great suggestion thanks so much!!

Ryan

Sure Ryan, when viewing a website page, right click then select view source from the pop up menu. That will give you the html code that the website page was built/designed. Good luck and Gods speed to you!

Awesome that's a great technique I will use a lot and save so much time!

Thanks for the advice, have a lovely week.

Ryan

Wow, I congratulate you on the possible job. Looks like a very impressive occupation. I checked out the website, viewed the html code, but I could not find any Keywords within the head. If I missed it I apologize. But maybe you can come up with some different keywords, and keyword phrases that may help them get more web traffic.
I hope this helps. Good luck and great success!

Hi WA

I am very concered as I got a comment saying "Please also note that I have scanned your website with Securi sitechecker (officially recommended and used by Google) a

This is Spam, notice the words all fear based they are using these words to worry you and you are reacting exactly as they want you to
The internet is full of this stuff its called emotive advertising or spamming ignore it
Your site is no more safe or at risk than any other site
Barry

A lot of those spam sites will say stuff like that to scare you and get your money. We shouldn't have a problem with that with WordPress.

Good advice fro John. Only pay money if you are looking to buy something yourself.
This looks like one of those pop ups that say your computer is at risk, but really, it isn't.

They want your 89 bucks............scam
John

Since this was a comment, you might want to ensure that it is not spam. I received a similar comment about my site although it was on another topic and it turned out to be spam. If you are not sure, check out this training from Kyle: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/how-to-remove-spam-comments-from-your-wordpress-blog

Is there a reason my site is easily hyjacked ?

Hi does anyone know anything about earnings online and paying tax within the UK? I am concerned as I haven't declared anything and would like to know some advice.

Can anyo

Hi Ryan.

First and most important piece of advice I can give is, anything you earn through your business - put 30% away in a separate account - it doesn't belong to you. The tax man will want his cut come 31st January (if your accountant uses the online services).

Hopefully it won't be the full 30% you have to give him - but your accountant (see below) will cost you a fair amount of money too.

Check with HMRC about paying national insurance - if you don't, it'll be backdated, and they'll threaten your future pensions etc if you don't pay up.

Start thinking about what you earn/spend - and keep a good track of it (spreadsheet if small, Freshbooks/FreeAgent/Quickbooks etc if you're starting to lose track).

Find a good local accountant, that you can talk to, and understands what you do. My experience talks volumes here - get it wrong and your could be over or underpaying tax, because of simple errors due to understanding what your actual business is.

Anything associated with your business, keep a note of - and receipts/invoices etc. Any income - keep as much detail as you can.

If you use PayPal etc - then my experience is their reports are more than sufficient to prove to your accountant what your incoming/outgoing is.

Setup a separate bank account for your business.

Pay for any expense using your business card - try not to mix it with your own personal accounts.

If you work from home, make sure your accountant gets copies of your phone bills, electricity and gas bills etc. A portion of those can be claimed back too.

If you buy a desk for your to work from - keep the receipt - likewise, a computer, printer and any consumables. They can all be offset against your tax bill.

If you drive to the shops to buy your paper and ink - take a note of the mileage - you can claim business mileage.

Do your accounts (prepare them for your accountant) often - I try to reconcile my bank account every couple of weeks - and ensure I chase payments for outstanding invoices etc. Depending on the accounting program you use - this could end up being a very quick exercise. I wrote my own accounts/invoicing program - so I'm pretty quick at it now.

Accept that paperwork (or electronic work) is part of running a business - and unless you get someone to do it for you (your accountant may, but they will charge), you're going to have to set aside time to get it done. Regularly and frequently is best - so it doesn't get on top of you.

Find out from your accountant, or HMRC about whether you should be a sole proprietor, partnership, LTD company etc - they all have their specific target business people.

If you are capturing any customer information on your site - you may also want to look having an SSL certificate - and possibly PCI DSS compliance.

Off the top of my head, that's what I think you should know - I'm certain others will give you some other pointers too.

I hope that helps a bit?

Cheers, Mark

Thanks so much for the full info. I am not earning much at the moment but I thought over the years I probably earn't around £800 which is very small. I will take note and see what an accountant would have to say. Thanks Mark, hope your raking it in now :D

I made money from click bank and Amazon this year and last year. All under 600 each year, do you think I should inform inland revenue?

Hi - yes - any additional income you make, should be declared. If any investigation is done in the future, and you've not declared something which is found, it could prove to be a difficult situation for you.

For such a small amount though, I would contact HMRC/IR in the first instance, before going to an accountant (accountant fees could be as much as you've quoted).

Raking it in? It's all relative - but you've made a start, and now you just need to build on it.

All the best, Mark

Sorry one more question. Do you have a link I can get to them buy? I am not sure as what I class as and what to contact regarding. Is there a proper name for this inquiry?

Hi - yes of course: http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/startingup/index.htm

Start there - and it should give you a lot of info - and then give them a call, or email for any specific queries for you.

Cheers, Mark

You need to contact the inland revenue office and let them know that you are earning an extra income online and they will give you all the info that you need. Hope this helps and good luck

Thanks Mylife1502! I will get to it.

Your welcome, if you have any problems with them let me know and I'll see if I can help
