First month Premium at WA - I'm just a little fish in a big pond!
How Do I Even Begin?
It has been a crazy month or so thus far! And I'm looking forward to it getting even more crazy :)
I've been looking for a legitimate work from anywhere online opportunity, and I think WA really fits me well.
Right now I'm on the last lesson of lesson 2 of the training for building my own niche website. I have picked Youth Soccer Jerseys because of my love for soccer, and also because my first job was a soccer referee. I loved watching the kids play soccer, and seeing smiles on their faces while playing. So, I wanted to give something back to that community. And plus, I love soccer and everything about it to this day! I also played soccer my whole life!
I love to write, and I've been slowly writing content for my website. Writing doesn't seem to bother me at all, because I'm writing about my passions. WA makes it easy :)
I do understand that this is just my first niche website, and I'm honestly not in a hurry to make money with it. I know that will come in the near future, and I know that's my end goal. But for now, I just want to learn everything I can to set me up for success.
Social Media, Is There One That's Better Than The Other?
My next goal is to pick a platform like Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube etc to start building a following and spreading my knowledge! I'm just completely uncertain which would be best to focus on. This would be in addition to my regular writing for content on my actual website.
I just know there's a lot of free attention out there with social media, and as long as I provide free value to people, they will hopefully listen to me.
I am also curious about the Affiliate Bootcamp and referring people to join WA, but that's later down the road. I'm going to focus on one training at a time.
But, I do think it is a good idea to start on one of these social media sites with a specific account for my "Best Youth Soccer Jerseys" niche and website. Maybe I could present offers to people, post reviews, or honestly produce any kind of soccer content that will be useful to my audience, which is probably going to be parents mostly.
So Far, So Good!
Anyway, so far I love everything here at Wealthy Affiliate. I'm looking forward to building my WAmily and continuing to learn from everyone here. I feel like I've only barely scratched the surface, and it actually feels good. I see HUGE potential here within WA and I look forward to seeing what my journey will bring me :)
I look forward to connecting with you all!
HERE'S TO PROGRESS!
Wishing you all the best,
Ryan :)

Hey Ryan
I admire your positive attitude. To me it seems like you have a solid plan moving forward.
Small fish in a big pond? That’s perfect because you have lots of room to move about!
One step at a time, you’re going to be successful. I wish you all the best.
Jane.
Thanks so much Jane :)
I agree, we all have lots of room to swim! :)
Wish you all the best as well!
Things become clear over time as long as you are engaged.
A piece fell into place for me yesterday. I also started a month ago. I was a member for a year but did nothing. Not a sausage.
I agree! As long as we engage consistently and work hard I think we'll set ourselves up for success :)
Thank you!
That's awesome, Ryan! You're doing great. For my niche, I'm focusing on Facebook and Pinterest. Jay has a Live Event training this entire month on Pinterest. It will really jumpstart you. It has me. Pinterest is very visual so jerseys should go over really well.
Good job so far!! You have the right mindset to do this!!
Paula
Awh thanks Paula! I will be sure to check out those Pinterest trainings with Jay. I appreciate you telling me this! :)
Wish you all the best!
Ryan

Looks like you're doing well just one month being in WA. Imagine what you can accomplish within a year!
I love playing soccer too! I've though of getting a referee licence, but decided not to; I rather just play lol.
For social media, I feel Instagram is one of the easier ones to maintain, as all you have to do is upload a picture and add a caption. Maybe you can focus on 2 social media first, say, Instagram and Pinterest (since you can upload the same picture and caption for both) before moving on to FB page/group, YouTube or others. If you have time on your hand, nothing can stop you from managing more than 2 social media accounts.
All the best!
Idris =)
Thank you so much! I completely agree with you, I think IG and Pinterest would be perfect for showing jerseys! Opposed to YouTube and FB where videos are mostly popular, I could start with IG and Pinterest and just work on making good pictures, posts and captions.
Thank you for this, Idris! :)
