Lifes Challenges
Hello everyone,It’s been sometimes since I’ve been on WA chatting and working on my lessons. I am back and now have an opportunity to share my challenges in my life right now. You know like they say, when least expected, life can hit us hard and test our true waters. Life challenges our characters, and affects our emotions, not to mention our professions, our family lives, love and relationships and yeah our pocket books.
Rough times, tough times…..Ok so you’re saying who hasn’t had it rough darling? Hmmm, I know we all do.
Here goes! I was just diagnosed with 2 tumors, a malignant, and a non-malignant one, on my ovary the former, and thyroid. One worse than the other. However, the events in my life has been a chronic spiral down the tube for me within the last 3 years.
Spiraling Down. Six months ago, I came close to losing my younger sister, with ovarian cancer, kidney failure and brain tumor. After much cash payouts to save her, I finally succeeded in bringing her home. Last year, my only child was diagnosed with rare blood disorder and heart disorder. Heart disease and blood disorder is a genetic predisposition in my family. I too have heart disorder. Two years prior I lost two older brothers, 6 months apart from each other died in their sleep, in their 40’s. Then my older sister passed away 8 months later after her spouse died, a year and a half prior. My last visit to see my family in Papua New Guinea, on my first day waking up, heard another older brother suicide that morning. Meanwhile, in the midst of all these going on, my mom had 4 strokes and 6 ICU hospitalization. Now She’s in a comma. Who knows this may be it for her. The worst yet, I find out the land my family have and the one I grew up on was never completely purchased. the government was evicting my sick mom and was going to throw her out on the street. So of course being a good daughter, I took out a loan and purchased the land back after building my mom’s home, which I also funded. So yeah, talk about death challenges and money challenges. I continue to fund all the death funerals in my family and emptied out my entire savings to help and save them all.
Whew!!, I just got it all off my chest. Feels good! :}
Facing My Challenges
Life is a challenging journey. Takes you through ups and downs, and through dirt and mud and onto the thorny winding road and it keeps on going. Life won't stop unless we’re 6 feet under. Stress is never ending, big or small. However, life gives us many opportunities to grow and learn as well and and whether we are equipped to handle that is the question to ask.
So how on earth am I handling all of these? Good Question!
RESILIENCE I GUESS!! POSITIVE ATTITUDE, OPTIMISM AND EMOTIONAL CONTROL IS KEY FOR ME. DEALING WITH ONE PROBLEM AT A TIME………………….
JUST ONE DAY AT A TIME……………………. IS ALL.
So What about you? What are your challenges and how do you deal with them?

Nothing like what you are dealing with. Keep your chin up. The good thing is, it can't get much worse. So things are looking up.
I appreciate your encouragement. Thank you.
