Freezing and another Goal
Hello all WA'ers
I can hardly wait for summer. I'm really not a winter person. We had a big frost this morning, the alpacas and sheep had frost on their wool and I froze of course. I was quite envious of their wool when I went tripping over the horse poo to feed the pig this morning. I could barely see through the mist of my own breath in the cold. Damn I hate feeling cold.
For those of you who probably reside in the colder climes you are probably laughing at me thinking that's not cold...wait till she experiences snow and blizzards etc...
Sorry to disappoint you all I'm not planning to do that anytime soon.
When my husband passed me the buckets with horse food I asked him, "Is my nose still there, I can't' feel it anymore.?" He told me it was and my nose was had a drop at the end of it. SEE... I was that frozen I couldn't feel my own nose running.
Anyways about an hour later I was back inside trying to decide which part of me felt the most frozen which was rather stupid because how could I if I lost sensation of feeling in the frozen parts of my body.
Well I've now got another GOAL.
I'm working towards a huge shed/shelter so that I don't have to be outside in the cold or wet weather to feed my fur babies and animals.
This is no joke... seriously that's one of my goals because I'd also like to be able to rescue more animals and actually have an enormous shelter for them.

We have 2 wood heaters on opposite ends of the house, problem is Australian houses are not built to keep warm

Ruth funny read, I laughter all the way to the end I hate cold weather also. If i was in snow I would be inside like the bears until its over , being from Florida here now Im in Texas. I am so use to tropical weather. My husband would be out there by himself. Yeah I know I aunt worth shit in cold weather. I barely want to take the dog out to pee in the cold Texas cold that is.
