Key words and How/When/Where to use them? I am still confused?
So I am really struggling trying to figure out how to use "keywords", and where to place them. Do I place them in posts, on pages, or what? If I am understanding correctly, keywords are a key to google rankings, right? I know to put keywords in your content when creating a post, but how does that create a rating? Howe many keywords should be used?

You want to use keywords in your title, heading, and somewhere hopefully in the 1st paragraph. After that, just write naturally. Just don't over use them, this is called keyword stuffing and Google doesn't like it.
Hi - google/bing etc will decide what to rank you on, and where - so filling out SEO fields etc is not going to help. As Dan said, that is keyword stuffing, and will be ignored.
Just write good, engaging and quality content - don't try and ram your keywords into your text other than where Dan has already suggested. You can use LSI (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latent_semantic_indexing) to mention your keyword meanings, but using slightly different words.
