Week 0 Day 2 Laying the foundation

Yesterday I decided to make a promise in order to keep myself accountable: Write a blog post every day during the first month at Wealthy Affiliate. So here we go :)

Today is day 2 of my preparation week and I'm happy to report on the progress I made!

Yesterday I wrote: 'Proper Preparation Prevents Poor Performance!' So today I prepared by creating a vision for my life. Based on that vision I created goals for the upcoming 6 months (July till December). I broke my half-yearly goals down into goals for the first 3 months. After that I broke my 3 month goals down into monthly goals.

My ultimate plan is to start making yearly goals by the beginning of 2020.

I made goals for all areas in life, namely Physical, Mental, Relational, Financial, Personal and Business related. Let me share some of my goals for Wealthy Affiliate during the first month:

1. I will easily finish the first 2 levels of the Wealthy Affiliate Training Course
2. I will easily create and publish my first website
3. I will easily make my first dollar using affiliate marketing

Besides these things, I also created a morning ritual and an evening ritual. Why? Because I am not created to stay average. I am created to do great things, and in order to constantly grow, in order to keep adding value to other people, I need to make sure that my day starts right and that my day ends right.

I need to be in control of my emotions. I have to be proactive, not reactive. ''You either control your mind or it controls you''

In closing I want to thank all of you who have shown their support, either by leaving a message on my profile or underneath the first blog I wrote yesterday!
