Hope To Have A success Story Soon
Hello everyone,
After reading so many success stories at WA, I decided to share my story as well. My story will not be that successful, but I am a very stubborn girl, so I keep moving even after failing.
Anyways, my story begins in June 2017, that is the exact time I joined WA. The reason for me joining is my desire to work from home and get stable income. The reason I joined at that specific time was that I was on maternity leave and thought I would be able to establish my blogging business fast, quit my job and stay with my baby. And I failed. And here are the reasons why.
My desire to get success fast. Honestly, when I joined WA, I thought that blogging is so easy. Just write smith, add some link and money will come to you. I was so wrong. I did not want to realize that affiliate marketing is a business and as any other business it takes time to establish it.
Not following the training properly. Yes, I passed the certification. But the way I followed the training, was kinda stupid. Of course, I watched the videos and read the training. But I did not want to follow some of the basic rules that Kyle was teaching us. Why? Well, my desire to monetize website was making me skip some of the steps that I should of have followed 9like making sure to have keywords in my first 2 paragraphs, adding keywords to the alt text to every picture within the post).
Did not write posts periodically. Yeah, I thought to have something on my website will still generate my traffic. Yeah, right! You have to post regularly in order for your website to be ranked faster. And not to write something, it must be a valuable, first to yourself, content. The content you will be proud of reading.
Did not get comments on my posts. Also a fail of mine. Was too lazy to leave comments on other websites. Or was trying to leave something so people will leave theirs. DO NOT DO IT! I learned my mistake and actually read through other people's posts before placing my comment.
Picked the niche I was not really knowledgeable enough. It looks like a minor thing as you could educate during writing the posts. But my other mistake was that I was not much passionate about the topic and I ran out of ideas very fast.
The result of my mistakes was that in January my website still did not generate much of the traffic and I had to get back to work (thank God, part-time). And it is not that I hate my job, it is just the sales part that drives me crazy and demotivated at work. I love helping people and that is what I do at work. But I have my sales numbers that I have to meet in order to keep my job.
Anyways, at the end of January, I re-thought my WA journey and decided to start a website within a niche that I am actually passionate about. And as I said, I an too stubborn to quit what I started. So will let you know how I am doing in my next post ;)

I know I started out with a niche that I was passionate about, but had no idea how to write about. I find my marketing niche so much easier to write about and I have a ton of ideas.
Stay consistent, be patient, and always follow the training. We'll both get there someday!
See ya,
Michelle/Anne
