Courage To Start Afresh
Our past does not define us. Many of us were trained and brainwashed into believing the lie that mistakes, failure, struggles, hardships and terrible things that happened in our past, are bad. That these are something terrible and shameful to fear and avoid at all costs. While all along in reality, mistakes, failure, hardships, struggles are all only life processes on the journey of life, to mold and shape us into the finished precious stones we already are within.
Yes, these life processes may be deeply painful, even excruciating at times, but which precious diamond or jewel did not have to go through some fiery furnace to produce the breathtaking shape at the end? Also, these processes were NOT built or designed to last. They pass just like clouds in the sky. Some staying longer than they should, but eventually they all pass, reaching their point of termination.
What I have learned and discovered the past month, is that what we are seeking was never outside of us. It was never some high thing to attain outside of ourselves. It has always been within us, just waiting for us to discover, embrace and taking the steps to start unleashing him/her already there within.
The mistakes we made in the past are only lessons, mentors on our journey, guiding us to find the place where we are meant to be ... the place we all eventually find. The mistakes of the past are mere compasses guiding us to discover the person within us just waiting to wake up from a slumber and truly live the full, authentic, abundant life we were created for from the beginning.
Sometimes, all the beauty within just takes time (the sum of all those precious past life experiences) to fully come to the fore in all of its fulness and radiance in our lives.
