I've never posted on facebook before, tho have had an FB account since FB started. I felt it's a waste of time. I feel it's a waste of time now too when I see people wasting time on FB using their mobiles.

I never started my own blog because I feared that I'd have to reply lots of comments. I was just reading some blogs about blog writing. I had been reading Steve Pavlina's blog since a few years. A post on another blog about "making money with blogging" pointed to one of his posts in which he says that he finally removed the ability on his blog to post comments. And I think he said something like it was the best thing he had done. And, that he was getting more time for quality content now.

I personally liked the idea and wish to do the same soon for my blog that I started recently.
But I'd like Kyle's, Carson's and other senior members' comments on this please.

Hello Kyle!

I just got myself a domain name and wish to start a technical blog soon. The domain name is easytechnicalblog [DOT] com and I got it dirt cheap using a promo code and got free Linux hosting with quite a good amount of storage, PHP and MySQL and ftp access and 5 GB bandwidth without any ads.

EasyTechnicalBlog is a long name and an oxymoron but is it good to use for a technical blog?

Please comment. Can I earn money sometime later using it? What other ways do you guys earn online other than from blogs? Sorry, I'm new to this online marketing thing.

Looking forward to some great help from you and Carson and the community here.

I got back to your other post in this regard. :) I do recommend going forward you post your question in only one spot (instead of multiple locations). We will get back to you.

To set up your own websites here you will want a Premium account (so you can utilize our unlimiited hosting which is included).

Thanks for your response Kyle.

I'm having some problem with this website. Clicking any page, even this page (my profile) gives me an error - "Yikes! We have encountered an unexpected error."

And then the browser (I'm using Google Chrome Version 24.0.1312.56 m on Windows XP SP3) redirects to the following account creation page, which I guess doesn't exist or there's some problem with the code and so I get the below error message:

The First Name field is required.

The Last Name field is required.

The email address supplied is already registered.

The Username field is required.

"}

This is happenning so frequently that I'm tired. I'm also using lastpass, so thought that it was causing some problem but disabling it did no good.

Kindly look into this if it's from your end, or direct me to the right place if you understand it's on my end and where.
