A Fascination With Gourmet tion

Are you fascinated with gourmet coffee beans? Yes? So am I. Yet any coffee company in the US can claim 'gourmet' on any product by law, when the continental US does not even grow coffee beans. Okay. I take that back. There are a few companies trying to grow a product by attempting to copy certain rain forest and volcanic soil and high-altitude conditions.

FRC LLC

Just be careful. Gourmet coffee takes gourmet conditions. The soil, the weather, the altitude etc...

Personally, I use two companies for my gourmet and specialty coffees and, just recently, teas. Coffee Bean Direct and Fresh Roasted Coffee LLC. We will roast your coffee and bag it only when you order it.

Since I did tell you a bit about Coffee Bean Direct, I will tell you a bit about Fresh Roasted Coffee LLC. This intriguing company offers me, and you, certified organic coffee. It's decaf is water processed to eliminate methylene chloride. Their coffees are Fair Trade certified and Rainforest Alliance certified. Not to mention they are 'Smithsonian migratory bird friendly' certified.

Their world-famous roasting technology has up to 80% of carbon emissions eliminated.

Now that's a company with a conscience! Not to mention that their prices are lower than most, if not all, supermarket prices.

Choosing...

To be honest, I chose CBD purely by taste. And FRC LLC purely by price. I do not know if that is tantamount to telling my trade secrets. But it felt like the right information to pass along. To be honest, FRC LLC has lower prices and 2 lb. bags available as well. CBD is a bit more flavorful.

These two companies are committed to the same gourmet coffee principles that I am. To bring you the best worldwide coffee beans available right off the Rain forest and Bean Belt plantations in such a way to put the freshest, most delicious gourmet products in your patiently waiting Burr grinder.

As you know from my blogs, I am trying desperately to encourage you to buy your beans online, because using supermarket coffee carries with it a precipitous drop-off in quality. More than 50%! While saving you only an average $0.02 a lb. If I sell a $45.00, 5 lb. bag of Tanzanian Peaberry, I will make $2.70. So this is not about me. It is about you and your java!

and so do you...

I want you to have the best, and so do you! Just alter your shopping habits a bit. Don't buy coffee at your grocery store. Order your beans here @ coffeeadvice2.com If you need a grinder (burr) or a maker, have a look at my accessories page. You will be enormously glad and happy that you did these things. Sometimes you have to break a bad habit to get into the 'big time'!

Now, please allow me to recommend some delicious coffees:

Tanzanian Peaberry. Very distinct, very mysterious single-bean coffee from Africa.

Costa Rican Tarrazu. My current favorite coffee. The aroma and taste are heavenly.

Guatemalan. Most Central and South American beans have these aroma and flavor qualities of fruits and nuts of various types.

As always, thank you so much for following me on my journey to upgrade Americans to gourmet coffee habits. Please leave a comment or suggestion down below and I will get back to you promptly...

ciao, roberto
