Hi All
I am working on my domain using WordPress with my Browser Safari 12.0.3 on my iMAC.
When trying to add links to my pages and posts I do not see any of the
that sounds like a messed up wordpress install.
i would have a word with sitesupport to see what they say.
or reinstall wordpress.
has it worked in the past - if so you may be able to roll back to then with a backup from support and go forward.
this looks like it is in the text mode for html editing - strange i don't see the two tabs at the top of the editor.
you have a very weird permalink as well - almost as if your are editing two pages at once
click on the link button and see what it does - mine brings up the link box and adds the html code when in text mode.
and you have jetpack installed - that will slow your site down if hosted on here.
you are in the new block editor for wordpress.
it is such a change from the old one most have got lost in it.
if you click on block over to the right hand side do you see anything related to the block
it does seem a bit weird.
if you press ctrl + k does it come up with a link editor?
if so then you may need to check out hte keyboard shortcuts ( top right three dots menu )
you could go back to using the old classic editor - it is a plugin which allows the old familiar interface - you may need to edit your settings - writing to allow users to use hte classic editor after installing.
if you click on the text do you get a menu popup over the block?
it's not all pointless - you could install firefox or chrome on your mac.
when you say logged in here
are you logging straight in to your site or through your wa sitemanager.
are you editing through hte block editor or classic
what happens in sitemanager - does the same thing happen.
a screen shot would be useful to see what you are seeing.
there are loads of members using macs on here with no problems so i am sure we can get to the bottom of it.
unfortunately i don't use a mac, but my other half does and did to use this program.
