A Short Update Of Progress After the First Month Of 2023

My focus in January was to create content for my website as well as finishing of technical stuff related to my primary website.

There are still work to be done related to design and some technical aspects with the site, but those will be addressed in due time. My weekly plan has blocked off one day of approx 4 to 5 hours dedicated to this

Email Marketing, Autoresponders and Blogging

I got my Autoresponders set up for the most part, just need to tweak three campaigns to be ready to activate them.

I got one welcome campaign for new sign ups, I got nurture campaign for my main list, and I got one campaign set up for cold traffic i.e.paid traffic.

So far I have published 4 blog post since January and are working on additional posts related to the use of WordPress, mindset and business, and of course AI since it is very central to what is going on in the online marketing world currently.

The priority throughout February will be posts related to getting up and running with WordPress.

The plan is to have at least 2 posts completed for each week coming to a planned total of 16 new posts in the first 2 months of the year.

But, the number is not important, it is the habit of consistently writing each day.

Socials, Video and Podcast

The next steps, probably not before March, is related to socials, Video and Podcasting, with YouTube as the first step in the sequence.

I am already present on several social media platforms, but not posting much in them. My biggest following is on Facebook, so I will start there and expand to LinkedIn and Pinterest.

It will not be a far stretch incorporating the three platforms in my workflow, as I am familiar with them form earlier

In the long term planning, LinkedIn is the one platform that will be the best one for me.

But the bottom line in terms of socials are they are not a priority. Blog content is te main priority.

AI - A Brave New World Of Entrepreneurship and Online Business

As you can guess by the cover picture, a lot of focus has been on the Brave New World of AI.

What I have noticed in the discussions here on the platform and on the Internet in general, is confusion and misunderstandings about what AI really is and what Googles position on automation and auto-generated content is (Webmaster Guidelines).

When a huge thing like this is going on the importance of getting the facts right is crucial. It is very easy to get dragged in to an opinion based discussion instead of keeping to facts.

Due this, I have been working on getting up to speed on the topic, attending events and a few masterclasses to get the big picture of what is happening after the ChatGPT revolution last year.

I have also gotten invited to beta-testing of a new AI tool which will be an interesting experience.

Do I use AI in my content creation framework?

No, not at present time, but I am learning the AI tools I have an account with and will incorporate some of them into my workflow during the next couple of weeks.

The important part of AI in what we do is to learn as much as we can about it, because it already is a part of what we do already ad it will become an even bigger part of it as time goes by.

It is much better to get in early and be ready to move on this new opportunity when the dust has settled a little bit, giving a more clear visibility into the future of marketing and blogging.

But the bottom line is that we create our content for our human audience no matter AI or not AI.

Stick to the pirnciples of content creation taught here at WA, and the principles of creating your website and you will do well....and the most important part of it all;

Be Patient, Rome Was Not Built In One Day.
