From what I understand, it even seems like flyers and business cards are coming more into fashion again.

That's really interesting to hear from someone who knows the value of networking groups, Christina. I'm very new to this type of networking, but so far I'm really enjoying it, as I appreciate people and it's a great way of communicating and learning things.

I hear you, I think we often think that because we are in the affiliate marketing business, no one is interested, but actually it's just the opposite! I also agree that it's a great way to learn, just as we do, on the Wealthy Affiliate platform, we can learn so much from others.

Absolutely. I also forgot to add that as wonderful as it is to be able to make a living by doing what we do, it's so important to connect with people in person at different events as well. It's having that balance of meeting people on and offline. Staying social really helps to keep you in a motivated and positive state of mind. Emotionally too. So important when you have those tough days to deal with that comes with running a business.

I agree with you, Christina, I think it is very important to be over to connect with different people and different events, as you rightly mention. It's great to work online, but we still need that human connection and good people around us.

That's really interesting, Jay, I know that networking groups have been going on for years, so there must be some strength in these groups. I must admit that I had a tendency to think that, due to the Internet, they may not be so popular, but it's great that they are going online, but still also have face-to-face meetings.

That's great that you have had so many opportunities at these networking events, Jay, that says a lot! What an honour to speak at an Internet marketing conference, I'm sure that people valued your input, just as we do at Wealthy Affiliate.

Certainly, in my very limited experience, I'm really enjoying the opportunity to network with other business people, I can see the value in these meetings. I probably will try a face-to-face event, but this is a great resource, just being able to Zoom, into these network meetings. I like the fact that there are always different types of people there.

There may actually be Internet marketing networking groups, in fact I'm sure there are. I must admit, I quite actually like the idea of meeting people from all sorts of different businesses. The group that I went on today, had a man who was highly successful, but also very humble. I believe that we can learn so much from these people. I can definitely recommend networking groups, despite my limited experience!
