I'm heading in the right direction
When I made the decision to create a jigsaw puzzle website, the only thing I knew was that I love to complete jigsaw puzzles and that other people probably enjoy building them too.
Since then I have created my website http://jigsawpuzzlesworld.com and I'm having a ball. I have been writing posts about my favorite hobby - you guessed it jigsaw puzzles. I have provided some unique jigsaw puzzle ideas and I have many more still to come.
I never thought that I would be able to create a website as the technical side kind of scared me. Now I'm up and running and it feels great.
I haven't monetized my website yet. I am currently just providing thoughts and ideas about jigsaw puzzle projects that people might be interested in. I hope within the next 3 months to have some affiliate programs - probably Amazon as they sell jigsaw puzzles. I have the whole monetization piece still to learn.
Within the next 6 months I hope to have 100 pages or posts - i'm still not clear about the finer points. Even if I only have 50 that would still be a good start.
I could have gone back to school and taken a course in how to create a website but I wouldn't have enjoyed the learning process nearly as much as I have with Wealthy Affiliate. WA has a great community of individuals working hard at success and it makes me want to try hard too. It also gives me confidence to know that other folks started out just like me and now have successful websites, I hope I will as well.
I wonder where we will all be with our websites next year at this time. Stay tuned to find out where I am.
