Why I enjoy blogging.

Creating my website and writing is so much more than just creating an online business for me. It's more like my therapy.

You see, being a full time mum is a hard job within it's self. Many people think it's easy, you don't go to work,,,, you sit at home with the kids all day,,,,you go where ever you want....

I get it all the time.

I have got 6 kids, another on they way, my oldest with a disability and yet people ask me "What do I do with myself all day" "You're so lucky you don't go to work"

I have to pardon their ignorance because I can imagine how hard it would be for people like that to even comprehend what it's like to run a household for everyone else's needs but your own.

So it's important I have something that is just mine.

Blogging is my outlet.... it's my flow.... it keeps me happy. If one day it can earn me a good living,,,than that's a bonus.

It's not easy to fit it, and sometimes I feel guilty writing and thinking about things totally unrelated to the needs of my family.

But that's why I believe blogging and creating websites is a healthy activity for house mums.

It gives them a sense of self worth and a creative outlet other than washing, cooking, cleaning, cleaning up spills and driving everyone around, sorting out kid squabbles. Did I mention cleaning????

I love my family and of course they are everything to me. But my website has also become a part of who I am.

I am just glad that I have found WA, not only for being part of a likeminded community of others but for all the help and support they give. It's not easy building an online business.....

Thanks WA !!!!

One blog leads to another and before you know it you are happily engaged!

Yeah,,, time goes so quick too, there is never enough time to get it all done.

Hi Rose. I think my wife could relate to you. She runs a licensed home daycare in our home for the last 28 years. Typically 8 to.10 kids. 12 hours a day. 1 week vacation a year. Not a single sick day in all these years. Just like a mom accept the kids go home at the end of the day. People think shes lucky to stay he too. The grass is always greener, right?

Glad to hear that you have found a "release" so to speak. And a good opportunity.

Take care!

thanks for your comment. Yeah, that must be tough for her. I can imagine how tired she must get at the end of the day... kids can be draining.

Cheers Rose

At least they go home. You're working 24/7 thats tough.
Have a great weekend Rose!
