Fighting the challenges
Whenever I am trying to accomplish "good things", I find myself fighting the challenges that want to get in my way.
Thank God I start my day reading the bible with my morning coffee, otherwise my hair might be standing up right now. I generally get up early enough to keep disturbances and outside influences from robbing me of my relationship with God. I believe this helps me to be a kinder person when chaos arrives :)
I thought I would do a few things before going into my computer building, by getting some work accomplished ahead of my other demands starting at 12:30.
I began with sanitizing the bathroom before my shower, and while cleaning the tub I noticed the caulking was coming loose in an area. Which means I will be re-caulking the tub this week. Ok, I won't focus on this frustration. I finished the task and took my shower.
Afterwards, every time I went to sit at my computer something happened. The dog got sick on the floor so I jump up, and as I was cleaning that mess, he gets sick in another area, so I hurried him outside. While I'm scrubbing the floor there is a knock on the door.
SQUIRREL......
Once again I start composing at my computer and my daughter starts freaking out because she thinks she has something that is going around at school. Once I scanned her head, neck and shoulders, I reassured her she was all good, then the clothes dryer went off and I had to hang cloths up before they wrinkled.
Now my 9 year old granddaughter, who is off of school today, comes over and wants to show me the correct, and incorrect way to dribble a basketball.
I'm like, I feel my body temperature rising because I cannot keep my focus on my computer, but I will not let this conquer me today!
Keep pressing forward my friends, no matter what the obstacles are. I believe I am being shown patience these last few weeks maybe you have been here too:)
Enjoy the ride and have a great day!
