Just a quick share on INTERESTING SNIPPETS from the search engines....
I shared with you how I found my site/articles ranked in Yahoo and Bing...
But the snippets shown are truly FASCINATING....
Yahoo and Bing... seemed to pull just anything from what we published...
Snippet 1: SEO Title plus Post Excerpt
Snippet 2: SEO Image / Video(s) Title plus the videos / images from our post... In my case, I used my videos from my YouTube channel as visuals for my articles.
Snippet 3: SEO Title plus Site Comment... I shared this with you on my last post...
Snippet 4: SEO Tags plus "assortment of things from my site content"
I said "assortment" because I really can't explain what is in there... it was a mix of a date.. sentences from content.. other tags... number of comments... etc.
I was working on my tags editing and organizing them because I found out that some of my articles have none. And VOILA!!! Magic happened!!!
What's more interesting is that I found them not just on PAGE 1 but literally ON EVERY PAGE (the same snippet) of the search engines!
This surely taught me NEVER TO MISS PUTTING TAGS on my posts again!!!

I had read that tags are a legacy from the early days of the internet and of search engines and that they are no longer relevant. But from what you are saying, this isn't true.

I think I put tags on maybe 1 or 2 so far.
I always hated doing this because I never know what to put there. It is a little confusing for me honestly.
