Thank you, it's probably more to do with having to use FREE themes, and my lack of any training in web development. I have tried so many themes but because of the amout of pages I need, especially on the main pet care business page, the site becomes very slow and then is where the problems begin. Have you any suggestions for a FREE [no way can I justify paying] theme that would do what i need without slowing the site. My needs are fairly basic, ability to have more than one menu, cutomisable widget areas, mobile responsive and with a fast loading time. I'm sure there is 'perfect' theme, just not found it yet, and the information on the net is contradictory and confusing. All seems good with them today, so keeping my fingers crossed it stays that way. I have listed all the sites that I created previously to joining WA on my profile page, would love some feedback, before I go to much further with the new rubix. ones. Need to know if the 'tone of the sites' are in the right direction. Sorry the length of this reply, my late mother always said that i liked to use hundred words when a few were only necessary!!

Thank you so much for your advice. Will certainly try them out, it has been suggested that I create a 'test' site on rubix. So I think that is what I will do, and see how they fit for my business sites and various blogs.

here is another suggestion you can use here are some plugins that might assist you .One is W3Cache it helps break down code and another is smush which trims the code on pictures give them a try they are free and you can always delete them if they do not work all the best Max
