Let's talk about 3 different ways to make money on Quora. I recently received a notification on my Quora profile, that now space admins can monetize their spaces. I was very excited but my excitement was short-lived. We will get into that a little later in the post.

First lets find out what Quora is and what Spaces are. Quora is a website where people ask questions, and others give answers, many content creators join Quora to answer questions so they can drive traffic to their blogs/websites.

And Quora Spaces are like forums where you can share an article and people will comment on it, or even asked questions about it, you can also invite people to join your space. You can also invite people to contribute to your space.

Quora gets over 300 million unique visitors every month which means content creators can drive lots of traffic to their websites by sharing links to their articles when they answer questions.

So What Are 3 Different Ways To Make Money On Quora?

The first way that people had been making money on Quora, was by joining their Partner program, where quora would pay you to ask questions through their ad revenue sharing, your earnings will depend on the traffic your questions are able to attract.

Once you are invited to join the Quora Partner program, you will get access to the partner dashboard where you are able to see suggestions on the topics that you should target with your questions.

You will also be able to track your earnings. There are people making good money on the Quora partner program, one thing to note is that not everybody will be invited to join the program but if you are lucky to get an invitation, then you can make some money by asking questions.

You Might Have To Do Some Research To Find The Best Questions To Ask

The questions you ask can generate income for up to a year. ( quora will not pay you after a year) like if you ask a question that is evergreen, and can rank on Google, then that question can drive lots of traffic to Quora meaning ads will be running on it for a long time. There are other kinds of questions that are asked based on what is currently happening in the world.

Those kinds of questions are short-lived, therefore, they might not generate revenue for a long time, but they are required in order to create activity on Quora, so you will be required to ask those kinds of questions too.

Well, you will have to wait until Quora decides to invite you, there are no clear answers when it comes to what qualifies you for an invitation, but you do need to be active on Quora. Asking and answering questions. That being said, I have been active on Quora since July 2019, with my content having almost 70k views and 5.7k this month, but I have not received an invite.

Mind you my goal for being on Quora is to answer questions within my niches so I can drive traffic to my websites, I am not on there looking to join the partner program otherwise I would have asked more questions, what I do is answer questions, I rarely ask questions.

Quora Plus And Space Subscriptions

So now Quora has introduced Quora Plus, this is a section of Quora which is going to be a subscription section. People will pay a monthly fee so they can get access to Quora Plus content. When you write articles on Quora, you will have the option to either make it free or share it on Quora Plus, where you will get paid based on how many paying members consume your content.

What this means is that if Quora Plus subscribers love your content, then you will make money with your articles.

You Can Set Up Your Own Space On Quora For People To Subscribe

Apart from The Quora Plus option, you can also create your own space where you will set up a subscription fee. Then people will subscribe to your space, and you will be sharing your specialized content on that Space.

You are in charge of deciding how much subscription fee you want to charge, and Quora will take 5% They promise that they will not raise that fee in the future.

At The Moment Its Only English Speaking Residents Of These 25 Countries That Will Benefit

So here comes the reason why my excitement was short-lived, Greece is not in the list of the 25 countries that can join these monetization programs. Quora has said that they will add more countries to the list, so we shall see.

I think this is a good opportunity to share your knowledge on Quora and be able to monetize your content. For example, lets say you want to start a Space where you will share recipes, you can get people to subscribe to your recipe Space.

Obviously, The Content Has To Be Worth The Money

There is a website called Just Answer, where experts join and get paid to answer questions based on their field. To join the site as an expert, one must have qualifications required for that field, for example, if you are a lawyer, you must submit your paperwork to prove that indeed you are a lawyer, doctor, engineer, architect, etc.

Based on the home page of the Just answer website, experts are getting paid well to answer questions, for me to join so I can chat with the experts, I need to pay 60 Euros a month that's about $70.78. I am saying this to show you that people are willing to pay for specialized information.

So I think that's what Quora is trying to do, they are trying to attract experts to create content on their platform. As I said if the content is worth the money, people will pay for it.

Even if you don't join their monetization programs, I think Quora is a great source of traffic, and you can make money by driving traffic to your affiliate offers. Well, I just wanted to share this information with the community.
