Rose Blogger Is Back In Town

Hello, my WA family, it's been a long time. Yesterday I opened my email from Kyle about Black Friday and I thought wow, it's been a long time since I posted something on WA.

Actually, if I am being honest, my written content creation has declined a lot and that is something I want to fix. Today I just published an article on one of my websites after a long time, and it actually felt weird, It was like I almost forgot how to write.

Couldn't remember how to place a keyword on the featured image, but after a few minutes, I figured it out, it's like riding a bike I guess lol.

Anyway, all is well with me, I hope everyone is doing well here and accomplishing those dreams.

Been Creating TikTok And YouTube Videos

I have been very active in video content, on YouTube and TikTok, I guess mainly on TikTok, but recently I was reminded that you truly must work on growing your own website, and not rely on these platforms.

TikTok recently disabled the Creator Fund this is a program that enabled creators to monetize their content, and there were a lot of creators who were making big money with the TikTok Creator Fund.

Many creators on the platform are not happy with this move, even though it looks like TikTok is working on another program that's going to replace the Creator Fund. The Creativity Program Beta is currently being tested in the US, to be in the Creativity Beta program, you must meet the requirements like the Creator Fund but in addition, you must create long-form content, I think this is TikTok trying to compete with YouTube.

There Are Other Ways To Monetize On TikTok

Even though there are other ways one can monetize on TikTok including video gifts, live stream gifts, tips, and creating a series and charging people to watch your series, The TikTok Creator Fund was the main way people were monetizing their content.

Mind you the Creator Fund was only available to users in the US, UK, Germany, Spain, And Italy, and of course, had to have met all the requirements including having more than 10,000 followers, must be at least 18 years old, and have at least 100,000 video views in the last 30 days.

These requirements are not difficult to meet, getting 10,000 followers on TikTok is not too difficult especially if you are actively going live, so if you lived in the countries that qualified, you were able to join easily.

For me of course it wasn't possible since I live in Greece, but I am creating a series of videos that I charge a low fee for people to watch, and my audience has also been rewarding me with video gifts and livestream gifts, it's actually fun and super addictive interacting with your audience live.
