Just to clarify, are you saying that you used to have a website on 3rd party servers?

That you then deleted your WordPress installation on their servers?

You then pointed your domain name to the WA servers and setup a new WordPress installation?

Have I understood that correctly?

If yes, have you added all your previous content (pages, posts and media etc) to the new WordPress site here at WA?

Again, if yes, do all the pages have the same name as the old site (permalinks)?

If no, and your site is indexed on Google (presuming this is where you’re finding the 404 Error), then you will need to install a 404/301/302 Redirect Plugin.

Once installed, you will need to add all of your previous URL’s (permalinks), as found in Google, and redirect them to your new sites pages/posts (permalinks).

Hope I have understood correctly, and this helps to resolve your issue.

Goodday ChrystopherJ Thanks a million
yes to the questions before.

You then pointed your domain name to the WA servers and setup a new WordPress installation? trying to but getting the 404 code

In sitebuilder i put in domain name choose a theme then when signing in I get the error code

I am using the domain name www.gaylifyrose.com I had originally

I move my domain name from Namecheap to WA instead of my hosting from Siteground to WA. Not sure what to do I intend on moving my hosting not the domain name.

I used https://www.brokenlinkcheck.com
This is what it said

Failed to connect to www.gaylifyrose.com with HTTP Response code 403. Apparently your Hosting / Server Administrator has blocked our service. You should ask them to get us unblocked. If you need more technical details please contact us.

When viewing your website, I see a blank template (no posts/pages etc)

That domain name has the nameservers of
ns1.giow1021.siteground.us
ns2.giow1021.siteground.us

With the Root and WWW both pointing to 35.188.129.55 which is Hosting provided by Google.

WA's servers are in the Amazon Cloud, so it does not look like you have pointed your website to WA correctly. Therefore WA's SiteSupport will not be able to assist with your WordPress or Hosting, as it is not provided by them.

You can contact site support and they might help with this issue.

their last response not found an error. Then you will need to try a fresh install or contact plugin provider for the guidelines.
trying another suggestion too. Thanks
