Celebrating Our 49th Wedding Anniversary Today
Today is a day of joy. August 20 is always a special day for us, as it's our wedding anniversary. Next year I suppose it could be an even bigger deal. Hard to imagine, though, as I'm as filled with happiness now as I was in that photo taken during our wedding back in 1972.
Sure, we've had some rough times. (I won't get into money.) But I feel rich with gratitude for the years living and often working with an imaginative and loving man. Once someone gave him the title of being an "extraordinary and creative person." one of the people in the San Francisco Bay Area who had that title bestowed upon them.
We've worked on websites, videos, and books together. He isn't here in WA as a member, but he does crop up quite often in my blog posts and his ideas enter into a lot of what I do.
Today we'll do some errands (hey, they need doing) and then go for a walk and have lunch out at a place here which has a lot of character. Chances are we'll reminisce.

Happy, Happy Anniversary! It's wonderful that you're just as happy today as you were 49 years ago on this date. We seem like rookies compared to you - in a week we'll be at 38 years.
