The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost

As I reflect upon my decision to start my journey into affiliate marketing, I am reminded of poem by Robert Frost. The poem is about a fork in the road. The narrator considers both paths but decides on the road that was "less traveled by." Choosing the road, he tells himself that one day he will take the other road. However, he realizes that he will never come back because the road will lead to other forks in the road that will not allow him to come back. The narrator sighs at the end of the poem as he remembers back at the decision he made with the first fork in the road.

"I shall be telling this with a sigh somewhere ages and ages hence."

The fork in the road is a metaphor for the decisions one makes in life. The narrator makes us think about the moments in our lives when hard choices had to be made. He continues the story by informing us that he chose the road less traveled. By doing this he tells us that it takes courage and a sense of adventure not to follow a well traveled road. But is this true? I think so. Yes, it's safer to follow a well traveled road but it's not courageous. I believe it takes more courage to get off a well traveled road and experience the road less traveled.

A few days ago, a fork in the road presented itself again. Was I going to be a Pemium Member, or was I just going to stick with my starter membership. I chose the former. You see, each decision we make, no matter how insignificant it may seem, will influence our life. So why spend the rest of our days wondering what life would have been like if we chose the other road? If you evaluate your particular situation, make an informed decision, and push forward, you will never tell your story with a sigh.

God Bless,

Ron
