My FB posts and such are posting what I see in the SEO settings boxes. That's what I want to get rid of.

I've noticed now that I've gotten some posts on my page, it's really long. How can I shorten it? Do I archive the old ones or what?

You have just ask a very good question. I am having the same issue with some of my post. Especially the post where I display. Items from a source. I want to know how to shorten it with deleted the whole. This may not be relevant to your question. Please let me know . share your link so I can give you feed back. I know there are a number of "how to" videos on customizing your page and you can find them by using the search box in the top panel of your page. I'll be sure to swing over to your site and share my thoughts with you.

Go to Settings - Reading. You can set the number of posts that appear on the page there.

I like to add the "more" tag after a couple of paragraphs. People can click the link to keep reading. Also, in your Wordpress dashboard, click "Settings" and "Reading." You can select how many posts appear on a page.

How else can I leave feedback on a website and receive credit? It seems like the only way to get credit is to review sites that they give you. Is this the only way?

So, let's say I'm writing a new post and I want to have a link "behind" the word Hashimoto's. The word is blue b/c it's a link so when the reader clicks it, it will take them
Further to Wendy's comments below, you may also want to make sure that the hyperlink opens in a new browseer window (sometimes called a tab).
