My 1st day with Wealthy Affiliate
Last week when I was searching for reviews about another "make money on the internet provider" I came across an article written by a member of WA (seems in all articles of Wealthy Affiliate they shorten it to WA, so I will do that also) in which she named the pro's and the con's of the "make money on the internet provider". Her review sounded very honest and she recommended in that article the website she is using for her internet marketing business. I bookmarked the website she recommended (WA) and took the weekend to think about it.
I didn't read any word of the website, only saw that becoming a member is for free, which drew my attention more. On purpose I didn't read any further on the website, there I wanted to let my feeling decide if the website was worth looking at or not. In other words; did the name of WA touched my feeling or not.
So today when I woke up and after I did my daily morning rituals (coffee, cigarette, read the news, check email and Facebook) I opened the website of Wealthy Affiliate. I wanted to sign up for the website, but changed my mind and watched the video 1st.
The video was very clear. unlike most other websites Kyle does not promisse you a golden tree, but just explains what internet marketing is about and what you need to do for it. By handing a start for free puts deed by word, so it is able to start this program (with 2 free websites!!) without any financial risks. That took my over the line (is that proper english????) and so today I started to join Wealthy Affiliate as free member.
Up to today i came to Lesson 4. I stopped at Lesson 4, there, although I have some idea's for some niche's, I want to think over how I want my website to look like. This part, unfortunately, Kyle and Carson maybe did not think about. The time you have to become a Premium member for a discount price of $19 is only 7 days and I can imagine that many people are not able to decide how their website will look like or which niche is best for them within 7 days. I, myself, think I will need more time than 7 days to know all that and to follow the Lessons (in the Getting Started and Bootcamp section) properly to get full benefit out of what WA offers.
Nevertheless I think (better said; feel, coz it is my feeling which decided me to join) that WA is worth trying out and with less expectation and enough motivation and commitment I believe it can be succesfull for everyone.

I enjoyed reading this. I truly think WA is a very good site, I have been to other sites and none of them compares when it comes to educating and teaching you how to succesfully make an online business. I learned a lot here and this is just my second day. For the niche part I think you should do it on something that interests you. Like an hobby or something of that nature. I'm sure you'll find your way and have a great time. I look forward to seeing your growth. :)

This is a great blog and you are so right...WA is an amazing place. The community here is super kind and welcoming and willing to help you with anything you need.
As for the niche - try not to think too much about it. Just pick something off the top of your head that you would enjoy writing about and just start. Remember, this is a learning experience for you so you'll learn as you go along and you're not limited to only one website! Most people usually don't end up with the niche they started with. Some even try a bunch of different niches until they feel comfortable with one. The thing is, through all of it, they learned about building websites and search engine optimization and how to create revenue...so I suggest you start as soon as possible...even if you haven't figured out the perfect niche. Just get started so you can continue learning.
