Struggling to find time and therefore motivation

Hi everyone

I've recently gone from limited application to zero due to fitting a new bathroom at home (awesome by the way) and helping my boss/best friend refurbish a 7 bedroom house. I've been seriously toying with the idea of putting my membership into mothballs for a month or two, but as I've read in other posts my membership fee is literally the price of a coffee a day. My almost immediate future should offer more WA time as I'm hopefully changing to part-time in my "real" job, dabbling in a bit of property development and really cracking on with my website etc. So, not much info here, I think I just need some encouragement or something. I'm still convinced that my future lies within Internet Marketing and WA, I just need to shift the rest of my life into line to fit in with that future. Sorry for being a bit of a whinger, just needed to get stuff off my chest really. Cheered for taking the time to read this and thanks in advance for any advice.

Yes I agree with all the comments below, just take baby steps on a regular basis and you will still make progress. I gave up on things before because of feeling like you do now, I got distracted and lost my enthusiasm, if I'd stuck with it I would be further on than I am today so I won't make that mistake again! Stick with and you are sure to succeed with the help of WA. :)

Thanks Sarah. I'd like to think I haven't lost my enthusiasm, but it's difficult to avoid "Distractions". Baby Steps sound good.

Hi, John. :) I feel you've already received great advice from @BIS and @Rebbak so all I can say to that is ditto. I've been here for about 4 months and I still log in daily even if it's just for 20 minutes on late nights or tired days. I always find encouragement from others and a reason to keep working on my dreams and goals. So, I encourage you to allow yourself to pass through this phase, using some of your time to log-in to read a bit, post a bit, learn a bit...because as you've noted...your future lies in IM. Cheers and blessings. -Chris :)

Thank-you so much Chris. I'm doing my best to trust the process and I'm positive this lull in mental energy will pass. So, I'm really happy with all your comments

You don't sound a whinger at all. Lots of people go through this stage. My advice is though decide on a length of time you can spend on WA. :ole @Rebbak has said this may be 30 minutes a day. Decide when - put it in your schedule and stick to it and don't let other things take priority. Then make sure the time you have you use effectively (no getting distracted with things that don't matter). You will soon seen on a short time that you'll make progress and as you see yourself making progress - enthusiasm will take over.

Good luck

Thanks. I'm trying and all your comments are very encouraging.

I have been going through this too. When starting WA, I had lots of time to work, but had to take on a job, which took up a lot of time. I have had to realize to review goals, and set aside some time somewhere in each day for WA. Even if it is 30 minutes to an hour by getting up earlier each morning. So far, it is working. My motivation is coming back and the discouragement is getting less.

Thanks for the reply Rebbak. My motivation and application is gently creeping back in.
