Take Your Own Advice
I will do my best to keep this short. I joined here last week and yesterday I had a Major setback, I have been having problems with my page builder I used it a few years ago with another business site with no problems at all.
But for the last few days it's been one thing after another so I decided to deactivate it and try another page builder, well do to my ignorance I did not know what repercussions that would have.
When I did that it, it deleted everything I had spent days, hours and sacrificed eating and sleeping to get that site up. Content was still there but all of the formatting was gone. I couldn't believe my eyes I was shocked at first and then Anger set in. Little did I know that some of these page builders in their short codes have it set that if you deactivate them it will do this.
To me I think this is criminal and should have some kind of disclaimer to the plugin or legal precedent or some kind of disclosure. You know like with the commercials we see everyday about some new drug on TV such as side effects from this will be Blah Blah Blah. But that's another discussion.
Anyway, I called my Son and vented after that I felt a little better and as I eased back into my chair it dawned on me I'm a hypocrite. I didn't take my own advice, I am so good at giving other people advice but I fail to listen to my own. Then I started thinking maybe that setbacks are tuned to one's own self. Hmm I'm still marinating on that.
I think what I'm saying is how do we handle a setback? Getting angry and flipping out yelling colorful metaphors doesn't help anything it only scares everyone around you and possibly the neighbors depending on how loud you are.
So In conclusion for a moment, I lost site of what kind of an example am I setting for my family and others to follow? We grow stronger through adversity and failure, and getting upset does nothing more than raise blood pressure, scare people, and it's generally unhealthy. One of my favorite sayings is "Failure Is The Soil From Which Success Grows"
All this trouble may very well be a blessing in disguise.So to take my own advice I'm chilling out.

Yeah I talked to support and my content is still there, it's all the structure is gone. But that's alright like I said it may be a blessing in disguise.
