Google chrome page loading scripts

I have an issue with my website. When I go to the website on Google Chrome, there is a message that says 'This page is trying to load scripts from unauthorized sources' and asks if I would like to load them. Do you know if this is something that is built into the page already or potentially something malicious? When I open the website in Internet Explorer, that message does not come up and then the whole computer slows down to a halt and I am unable to do anything.

Ron - I'm a senior web developer and can tell you exactly what the problem is. If your website is TLS (think https secure site) then any links to http (insecure sites) will cause that message to come up. Be careful what you link to on your site. Best policy is to make all links relative by leaving off the protocol (the http: or https: part) and just use the format: //somewebsite.com/etcetera

Sounds like an infection to me, are you having any security software on your computer? Did you do a scan? If you can get back getting your computer started, try a web virus scan to see if you are infected and your security software is maybe disabled by the virus.

You can go to: trendmicro dot com and click on Housecall

It is free, let us know how it goes.
