Hello everyone, my name is Rob Kerin and this is my story..... I became disabled in 2000 after a slip and fall accident at work. My neck, back and left knee got messed up and I was in a lot of pain. I started to rely on pain killers, booze, and a lot of weed to mask not only the physical pain, but also the emotional pain as well.
To make a very long story short, I was diagnosed with Depression and Anxiety which turned into Bi-Polar Disorder and Anxiety Disorder. After a number of times being hospitalized, and finally getting the right meds, I'm starting to feel like myself again.
The main reason I talk about my depression is because I know there are too many people who feel like me, or have felt like me. The main thing is that "we never ever give up on our dreams" because every one of us are special in our own way, and have that right to live a good life!!
