Progress? You Betcha!
Well, I'm at the point where it is time for me to give an update on my progress thus far. I joined WA last summer, but REALLY started diving into the program near the first of this year. It has honestly been an awesome journey so far!
Since January, I have created my website: http://granitephysique.com, which focuses on helping those interested in building a harder physique or obtaining a "hollywood look". I have learned about creating quality content, content that drives traffic.
The thing that has stood out the most to me so far is the people that I have met here within the Wealthy Affiliate community. There are so many committed individuals here at WA that I know I can look to for help or inspiration. There is not a doubt in my mind that I made the right decision by joining and becoming a premium member of WA.
My biggest struggles so far have been with content creation. I consider myself a pretty good writer, but lately when it comes time to transfer thoughts to paper, it is taking me a lot longer than it probably should. I have not let this discourage me however.
I have been spending as much time as I am afforded between a full-time career and family in building my website and I honestly wish I could spend much more time just focusing on this, but I am not quite there yet, although it is my long-term goal. (To replace my full-time job with a successful web business that allows me to "retire" and spend more time with my family.)
My goals for the next 3 months with my business would be to continue to build relationships and further extend my network of like-minded individuals. I would like to see my first sale or multiple sales within the next 3 months. I'm sure that with what I have seen so far, this will be accomplished!
Looking farther down the road, my six month goal would be to see a consistent amount of income coming in from my website. I have been nothing short if impressed at Wealthy Affiliate and I am completely happy with my decision to move forward and let great things happen. The most important lesson that I have learned so far is that there are definitely no shortcuts to success. You will get back whatever it is you put in and that by having a clear vision, nothing will stand in your path to success.
Thank you to all who have helped me so far and I look forward to meeting many more of you in the future!
