Troubling in Google Index

Hi guys.
So, please if anyone could help out, would be totally appreciated.
I created my site 5 days ago and it says it hasn't been Google Indexed yet but the site health's getting better.
I followed Kyle's steps to index it checking boxes on the site's settings. Am I skipping something? Is this normal?

Have you submitted the sitemap to Seach Console ( webmaster tools)?
