I did put this out as a question in response to Jays recent video and the comments it raised about Amazon images. But I know this is a very important subject for me and I am sure many others too.

I also would like to be in a position not to be giving misleading information to others, because like others who have made comments on this subject, I do have been given misleading information.

We are talking about the Amazon rules while on the 180-day probation period, we all seem to be aware of the 3 sales rule in this period. Are we all clear that from what I have been told that this is for each country/ territory you register with?

I have also been advised that the following words relating to the disclosure have to be as follows:

“As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases” is this information correct?

But purely from the points Jay as pointed out where do we all sit with the following

1, you can use the images as long as you maintain ratios.? This is what I believe Jay said.

2, Can you use their images and embed their site stripe code into the same image?

3, Is there some other way we should be using their images & codes while on probation?

4, Any sales made from friends and family will most likely be disallowed?

5, After reaching your sales goals your sites will be inspected/crawled for compliance?

6, The fact that Amazon images will not stay in your media library, how does this relate to the Amazon probation rules as I think this is where some of the misconception may have started?

This seems to be a very important topic for a lot of people, and more so when it appears that WA's default system for potential affiliate programs seems to go to Amazon.

Let's hope we can clear this up once and for all. I do understand that it was a lot easier until just last year.
