Wealthy Affiliate Training: Is It Really Worth It? My Honest Take

I just wanted to share a little something that might be useful to new members or those considering signing up. Hopefully, anything I write will help you along the way.

Most people who first join WA find the whole process of taking on the training overwhelming—especially if they’re starting with little to no experience in this side of the online world. It can feel like a lot to take in at once.

My Skills With Computers and Applications

Now, I’m no stranger to computers and applications. I’ve been using MS Office, Corel Draw and Paint, QuickBooks, FreeAgent, ArtCam, and many other apps over the last 35 years (some of which have disappeared into history!). I’ve even overseen the development of my own custom software for a past business. On top of that, I’ve owned an iPhone since they first came out—before that, it was Blue and BlackBerrys—so I wouldn’t call myself a greenhorn.

But this training that Wealthy Affiliate provides? It’s a whole different perspective. It has not only shown me things I wish I had known earlier but also things I should have known. It’s incredibly thorough, and honestly, if it went into any more detail, it might be too much for some.

For Those With More Computer Skills

That said, for those with different skill sets in the computer world, I imagine some might wish it were even more intense. So, I think the balance is just right—though I probably wasn’t saying that at the beginning! I had a lot of free time to put in long hours, and it still took several months before I felt like I hit that turning point where everything clicked. But once it did, things started moving fast. The penny dropped.

Apart from one “sticky” moment (which was more of a health issue than anything else), I’ve absolutely loved the training, the live classes with Jay, Eric, and Vitaliy, and of course, the ever-present Kyle, one of the founders. The journey itself—and the people in the WA community—have made it even better.

WA does what it promises. It teaches you the different ways to make money online and constantly adapts to changes in the industry.

If you ever start feeling like it’s too much, reach out to the community—and that includes not just members, but also the owners and trainers. They are all there, ready to help if you ask. Don’t give up! Get stuck in, ask questions, and make use of the big help button at the top of the screen. There’s also a dedicated question section if you need it.

I was a bit shy about asking at first—more out of fear of looking silly—but I soon realized that other members are there to support you, not judge.

So, if you’re new here, stick with it. The journey is worth it.

Costs and Value is Wealthy Affiliate Worth it.

I’ve tried other, far more expensive platforms, only to find that Wealthy Affiliate provides far better training and so much more in extras—domains, solid hosting, built-in WordPress setups, and excellent site support. In fact, the hosting alone is better than what many standalone providers offer. So yes, the value is absolutely worth the cost, especially if you can afford the annual membership—it’s a smart investment that gives you the best bang for your buck.
